Two people on my trim crew purchased this gun after seeing how well the 23ga works, but both have had to buy something else after 6 months. The driver seems to slip off of the nail head on both of these, and leaves a much larger hole than necessary. If you back off the driver, it doesn't sink the nail. I love the Grex 23ga guns, but can't recommend the 18ga.

I have to agree with Mathew on his review. I purchased the 18g GREX after buying the 23g GREX loving it. I install cabinets trim for a living. While I have not had one problem with the 23g, the 18g does misfire from time to time. If i put extra lube on the pin driver, it seems to not happin as often. I have owned the 23g for about 1 1/2 years the 18g for about 1 year. (Love the 23g, so so on the 18g)

Grex makes great trim guns. American based company. Manufactured in Taiwan. One of the 18 gauge and one of the 23 gauge and your set up to do first class trim and cabinet assembly. Fires very consistantly no irritating dry fires that leave extra marrs in your work.
