I bought this as an adjunct to my growing collection of nail-guns.
br /I've been a very active handy-man for years; just a few years ago I developed an arthritis-like problem with the joints in my hands and wrists that makes nailing quite painful. So I've been buying and using nail guns. Of course, you have to buy nailers for framing, finish, roofing, siding,...
br /This little gun can eliminate the need for them all. Of course, its because I don't install siding or roofing for a living that I can make that statement. But if you drive nails more than occasionally, but not really enough to justify the special-purpose gun...I guarantee this fill fill the gap. I've used it fairly extensively, without pain to my hands.

I bought this specifically to nail a kitchen soffit in areas where my hammer could not fit. It worked beautifully for this task and I ended up using it all day for various things. Its pneumatic action was slightly startling at first then became just plain fun.

I love this palm nailer!! My husband has a regular size nailer of another brand but it is too heavy for me to use.I have arthritis in my hands and the palm nailer is light enough for me to lift and heavy duty enough to get the job done. I saw the Dewalt palm nailer demonstrated on a program on TV and I thought how neat! So I got one and I have been using it to put up siding on my house by myself since I stay home and my husband goes to work. If I didn't have this nailer I would still be scraping the old paint off the house and just repainting it. This is my second Dewalt product and I think they are very well made.

The palm nailer is very handy for getting into hard-to-reach spots such as rafters to nail metal hurricane strips. I have arthritic wrists which can make hammering difficult but the palm nailer is easy on them.

Works well in tight spaces. The only drawback is that since the nail is not gripped tightly by the nailer, aiming can be a bit difficult.

Essential tool for framing and roofing - especially nailing rafter ties. What you get is DeWalt quality and reliability. What you don't get is a case and other accessories, such as you would find on Bostich or other top brands. The palm leather glove is great and more adjustable than the Bostich - especially if you are wearing gloves. The magnetic holder is very useful. Like all palm nailers, be careful when loading the nail not to press too hard - you could get a nail driven through your finger !

I am glad I purchased this tool. Nailing in tight awkward spots is always frustrating. Nails don't go in all the way, bend, generaaly just looks sloppily done. Not anymore!! with this tool, load nail, palm where you want it to go--and voila!!
This a great tool but...

I defy anyone to find this tool for more than $90. So where on earth did Amazon come up with a price of $162? How can they continue to make claims that they are saving you big $$$? It's a good tool, if you need it, buy it but don't think that Amazon is doing you any big favors except waiving the shipping costs.

Used it a few times so far. Works well except it occasionally gets "stuck" and you have to remove the air hose to get it to work. Despite that, it is a real time saver.

This sander is very versatile and efficient. In addition, it works with many different types of nails and wood. I originally thought there would be a lot of vibration; it turns out there is minimal vibration. I would recommend buying this tool.
