Ive had this nail gun for a month now and have used it on 2 houses that I've built , it's a very solid gun for the money, i wouldnt put it in the same league as the hitachi's , but I was impressed with the quality of the gun, a very trustworthy gun for the price.

Reconditioned Dewalt framing nailer works flawlessly.

I have used my Dewalt D51844 framing nailer for about three weeks now finishing our new large basement and it has worked flawlessly. I have experienced no jams or problems. I am very pleased with it. I recieved the nailer in about a week after ordering. It was delivered without damage as you would expect. I would have liked a case for storage, but that's no big deal. As with all Dewalt products I have, this one is well built and works as you would expect it to. I'm more that satisfied.

Good deal for the money.

Needed a framer for occasional small jobs. The best part about the dewalt is its weight. Has to be the lightest compared to the Hitachi or Porter Cable. As with any framer including the dewalt nail jams in the magazine are common. One draw back to the dewalt is the setting the nail depth. Very hard to get it to set nails flush on siding. Overall very happy with the tool. No regrets.

This is a first rate nailer, and saving a few bucks bas a bonus. However, it wasn't made clear to me that the air adapter needed to connect the nailer to the air hose was not part of the purchase. I was all set to nail tegether a deck on Sunday morning, and was flummoxed by the lack of the part. I have purchased other nailers, and they have all come with this part, so...did I get short changed? Amazon, if you are listening, please let me know if I should be looking at the mail to see one coming soon. There was no local retailer open, so had to canabaliz another nailer to do the work, and switch back and forth.

Nothing wrong with this refurb! Nice price, works great,it jambs a little, probably due to the plastic collated nails it uses.

I bought this item to construct a large storage shed. I only purchased it because it was priced so favorably, otherwise I would have swung a hammer. It arrived looking brand new and I drove hundreds of nails with no problems at all. The only thing you will need is a male connector for the air hose, this is not supplied with the tool.

Arrived quickly in perfect condition. If I had not known it was reconditined, I would have thought it new. Probably not up to every day professional use, but perfect for me for building projects especially since I can't use my right arm and shoulder for nailing until an injury heals. Light and fast and easy to use and nails very available from Home Depot, Lowe's etc. Thoroughly recommend.

The nailer arrived and was as advertised. The price was a little higher than the cheap no name nailers, but well worth the extra money. I used the nailer to install Hardie plank siding using 2 1/2 inch nails. Since this application required flush nailing, I played with the settings and it ended up either too deep or above the surface. I then adjusted the air pressure and the depth adjustment and that came up with a good setting. The nailer seemed to jam if you let it get below about 4-5 nails. Keep the nailer fed, and jamming is eliminated. I used a PC pancake compressor and it kept up with me. I am not sure if a pro would require a higher capacity compressor.

br /All in all I am pretty happy with the nailer. I will use it in on continuation of the porch project where I build an Eon deck over the existing concrete floor.

This nailer looks brand new! It looks like the factory just re-manufactured it, because there isn't a scratch on it. I used it to build a deck and it performed flawlessly. Not a single jam! One bit of advice, be sure you get the right nails for the gun. The hardware store carries a lot of different nails. Not all of them work on all guns. Be sure to ask.

Received in what appeared to be like new condition. When attempting to use it, the
br /gun would not create enough pressure to completely sink the nail. Always left a 1/4
br /inch head, which needed to be finished off with a hammer. My compressor delivered 120#
br /of force. Had to return it to seller.

I will never go back to a framing hammer. This tool arrived in new condition. If it wasn't listed as reconditioned, I would have not realized it was reconditioned. Just completed the rough framing on a 16'x24' shop and the nailer worked great. We had a couple of jams but they were probably caused by the nails and not the gun because the last few nails were broke apart. Be careful with this gun, it is very powerful, if you shoot a nail at an angle too close to the edge it will go sailing. I rated this a 4 because I am fairly new to framing nailers so I am cautious to compare to other brands. Great product and excellent value.
