I've used this nailer extensively and have had nothing but continual good service from it. I don't baby my tools and demand they work properly, after using my crews FinishPro 35 nailer extensively and being very satisfied I recently bought my own.

br /A high quality tool you can shoot thousands of nails out of day after day.
br /
br /Like all mechanical tools they sometime need servicing and I'd suspect most problems could easily be remedied by a service trip.
br /
br /Edit 9-24-07: The safety guarg got ripped off my FinishPro 35 during a recent job. It was a fairly easy fix and the gun continues to function well.

I bought this gun in a set with the brad nailer and the stapler. I've used it a few times, having just switched to pneumatic tools from the old way (hammer and nails). As a new user, I can say the Senco is very easy to figure out how to use and very hard to jam. I did jam it once by putting the nails in backwards, but it was an easy fix (once I realized what I had done). The nails are a little pricy, but using the gun makes a snap out of assembly operations.

br /The gun has a depth of nail adjustment on-board, but you can just as easily regulate the pressure at your compressor. Mine came with everything needed to get rolling - except the nails, of coarse. HD carry Senco nails, so availability is no problem. You can also use other brands, which I've done without problem.
br /
br /The main reason I chose Senco was the reputation of the brand and the fact that you can use other brands of nails. I'm satisfied that the quality of the guns that I got matches what I expected from Senco.

I am just a home owner and do not use any of my tools for professional purposes. I do however work part time in a hardware store that sells top of the line nail guns, so I know what the local contractors are buying and liking. Many of the FP35s have been sold out of our store and I have never heard any compaints about them. I bought this combo for use around my house and it has been awesome. I just finished installing crown molding in my bathroom and the FP35 worked flawlessly. There is one thing that would be nice on the FP35 though. A hook to hang the gun from. The FP18 has one built in. I won't let that bring the rating down though. You can buy hooks that attach to your belt just for hanging guns and other tools from. Other than that the FP35 is a great gun. Perfect for the home owner due to it's price and reliability. Don't be mistaken though, Senco makes professional grade guns. Plenty of contractors and professionals in this area are using the FP35 and love them. We get far more Bostich, Paslode and Dewalt guns returned for repair than Hitachi or Senco. I would recommend the FP35 to pretty much anyone looking for a good 15 gauge finish nailer.
Don't buy this one

My company bought this nailer and had problems with it setting the nails. We own Senco SFN 30 and 40 and like both as well as the Porter Cable DA250B. However, my favorite angled finish nailer is the Dewalt D51275K. See my review on it.

br /Note:I have also had bad experience with Bostich nailers.
